Our national United Church is asking local churches what we believe. Our councils will vote by May 2012 on whether to adopt 3 expressions of faith as 'subordinate standards of faith', adjusting our 1925 'Basis of Union' constitution.

Here at TUC, we studied "Our Words of Faith: Cherished, Honoured, and Living" in 4 sessions:

#3:     Modern Poetry: A New Creed, 1968/1980/1994
#4: Post-Modern Lyrics: A Song of Faith 2006

Other recent bible studies include sessions comparing the 4 gospels in our bible with the 'Lost Gospels' and 'the gospel according to you', 'baby Jesus in the bible, the books of Acts, Romans, Genesis, and Revelation. Written and DVD formats supplement group discussions - pick up a copy of the readings copied on audio CDs, narrated by Bill, at the church.
